Parking Lock Shaft Seal, Replacing: Procedure

-- Remove The Noise Insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION / NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Rear noise insulation, A4/A5
- Center noise insulation, Q5
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and push the coolant pipe for the transmission to the side. (different versions)
NOTE:
Ignore -1 and 2-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move the parking lock emergency release cable -1- to the side. (different versions)
-- Drive out the spring pin -arrow- using the :3276/1 and remove the parking lock lever -1-.
-- Remove the bolt -2-.
-- Disconnect the connector -3-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the parking lock cover -1-.
-- Remove the seal with the :T10040/3 .
-- Press in the new seal with the :T10040/3 to the installation dimension 0.5 mm.
