Overview - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

- Bolt
- 4.5 Nm
- Thread cutting
- Position the bolt by hand and tighten it until it finds the old threads. Then tighten the bolt to the specification.
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- O-Ring/Centering Ring
- Allocation. Refer to Fig 2.
- Coat with coolant
- O-Ring/Centering Ring
- Allocation. Refer to Fig 2.
- Coat with coolant
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-
- On transmission side of the cylinder head
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 9 Nm
Allocation of the O-Ring/Centering Ring
- Check the centering ring -1- for damage, if it is, then replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
- Always replace the O-ring -2- after disassembly.
