Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required
- Torque Wrench 1332 40-200 Nm :VAG1332
- Torque Wrench 1410:VAG1410
- Brake Pedal Actuator:VAG1869/2 .
- Bleeder bottle from the Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit:VAS5234
- M10 plug or M12 from the Assembly Part Set:5Q0 698 311
NOTE:
Clean Bolts Before Reusing.
Replace Damaged Bolts.
Always replace self-locking bolts.
Coat the brake pad guides in the brake caliper with Lithium Grease:G 052 150 A2 .
Do not lubricate the seals for brake pistons and rubber components.
NOTE:
The brake caliper is removed and disconnected from the hydraulic system in the following description. The brake hose is removed.
