Coolant Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the housing for the Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat -F265- and move to the side. Refer to HOUSING FOR Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat -F265-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Audi A8: the upper air duct pipe remains installed.
-- Remove the vacuum hose -arrow- at the same time to not damage it.
-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray: VAS6208 underneath.
-- Remove the bolts -1 to 7- and remove the coolant pump.
TIP:
Dependent on the structural shape of the vibration damper, the bolts -2 and 4- might not be accessible. In this case remove the vibration damper. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
