Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp, Removing And Installing: Removing

- The marking shows the position of the springs -arrows-.
- The retainers -1- are removed from the body by prying them out.
-- Remove the interior rearview mirror. Refer to INTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the sun visor center support. Refer to SUN VISOR CENTER SUPPORT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Insert a plastic paint scraper -5- on both the left and right sides between the roof module -3- and the headliner -1- near the side retainer and position it behind the retainer -4- by turning.
- The clip must be pushed in the direction of the roof module.
-- From the front, guide the scraper -2- in between the headliner and body near the retainers.
-- Use the scraper to forcefully push the front roof module out of the roof opening in direction of -arrow- ; the front retainer is pulled out of the body while doing so.
-- Disconnect the connector and free up the wiring harness.
