Starter, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With 2.0L TFSI Engine: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Make sure the seal -2- is seated correctly inside the starter opening before installing the starter.
- The seal must seal with the opening -1- for the starter -arrows-.
- To tighten the bolt -2-, insert the spacer sleeve -arrow- between the starter and transmission.
CAUTION:
There is a risk of damaging the starter through improper handling.
- Tighten the bolt only with the spacer sleeve installed between the starter and the transmission.
