Left Front Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the left front lower longitudinal member. Refer to LOWER LONGITUDINAL MEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles without High-Voltage System: 

-- Remove the A/C compressor from the bracket and tie it up on the left side. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .

Continuation for All Vehicles: 

-- Remove the left front section of the wheel housing liner. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - COVERS AND AIR GUIDES .

-- Release the left and right catches in direction of -arrows- and remove the retaining pin -1- for the radiator upward.

-- Push the radiator on the top slightly forward and secure it with for example with a plastic wedge so it does not tilt back.

-- Remove the coolant hose on the connection of the coolant pump -item  : Connection, to do so loosen the hose clamp.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the left front coolant pipe -1- from the coolant pump.
