Front Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the upper air duct pipe. Refer to AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Loosen the hose clamp on the right charge air cooler and remove the charge air hose from the lower air duct pipe -1-.

-- Remove the lower air duct pipe -1-. Refer to LOWER AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles without High-Voltage System:

-- Remove the generator ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Continuation for All Vehicles:

-- Position the Counterhold - Multiple Use: T10172A with Adapters Counterhold - Kit - Adapter 10: T10172/10 on the belt pulley -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

-- Remove the belt pulley -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the front coolant pipe -1- from the right cylinder head and from the shut-off valve.
