Knock Sensor 1 - G61-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

Component location: under the intake manifold behind the Engine Temperature Control Actuator - N493-.

Removing

-- Remove the Engine Temperature Control Actuator - N493-. Refer to Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector - 3-.

-- Free up the wire - 1- for Knock Sensor 1 - G61-. To do so, release the catch in direction of - arrow- from bracket - 2-.

-- Remove the Knock Sensor 1 - G61- - arrow-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- Install the Engine Temperature Control Actuator - N493-. Refer to Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
