Ignition Coils, Removing And Installing: Removing

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to IGNITION COILS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If installed, remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the connector -1- for the Oxygen Sensor 1 Before Catalytic Converter -GX10- -2- from the bracket.

Tip:

Different installation positions depending on models and version.

-- If equipped, remove the nut -2- and free up the ground wire -1-.

-- Release the connectors and simultaneously disconnect them from the ignition coils in direction of -arrows-.

-- Remove the corresponding double bolt -3-.

-- Insert : T10530  in the ignition coil opening -1-.

-- Turn the knurled nut -2- clockwise in direction of -arrow- until the puller is clamped.

-- Remove the ignition coil carefully vertically in direction of -arrow- using : T10530  .
