Left Multifunction Buttons on Steering Wheel -E440- /Right Multifunction Buttons on Steering Wheel -E441-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

-- Remove the driver airbag. Refer to AIRBAG UNIT WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Draw sketches or take pictures of the wire routing in the steering wheel. This will ensure the original wire routing when installing.

-- Remove the retainers -arrows- at the steering wheel upper trim -1- using the Trim Removal Wedge :3409 from the retainers on the steering wheel -2-.

-- Use the Trim Removal Wedge :3409 to release the multifunction button -1- close to the retainer in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Pry out the multifunction button -1- on the other side in direction of -arrow A- using the Trim Removal Wedge :3409 .

-- Release and disconnect the connectors from the multifunction button.
