Oil Pan Lower Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulations. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Loosen the front section of the front left and right wheel housing liner from the longitudinal member. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

Wire Bracket, Version 1:

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Release the catches in direction of -arrows- and free up the bracket -2- for the wires from the subframe.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Free up the wire bracket on the subframe -1-.

-- Remove the connector -4- from the bracket.

-- Remove the left and right bolts -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -3- and remove the left support bearing -2-.

-- Remove engine bracket left and right bolt -arrow-.

-- Support the engine in the installation position. Refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLATION POSITION .

• Make sure the ball joint rubber boot is not damaged during assembly work. If necessary, protect the rubber boot from damage.

-- Lift the engine the dimension -a- using the :10-222A/11  -1-.

• Dimension -a- = approximately 20 mm.
