- Diagnostic Adapter: VAS611009
Procedure
- On the "compact" or "connect" charging system the diagnosis is possible using the Diagnostic Adapter: VAS611009 with ODIS self-sufficient service this means without vehicle diagnostic entry.
- Because the "compact" or "connect" charging system involves an external component, no VIN can be read out during diagnostic entry and consequently there are some important notes to pay attention to.
- For the diagnostic entry on the "compact" or "connect" charging system pay attention to the following described steps.
-- Disconnect the High-Voltage Charging System Control Head -E943- from the power supply.
-- Disconnect the charging cable for the side of the vehicle.
-- Connect the : VAS611009 -1- between Charging Cable for High-Voltage Charging System, Power Connection -P88- -2- and High-Voltage Charging System Control Head -E943- -3-.
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester on the Diagnostic Adapter: VAS611009 .
-- Connect the Diagnostic Adapter: VAS611009 to the power supply.
-- Switch on the High-Voltage Charging System Control Head -E943-.
Depending on the ODIS version instead of the VIN "AUDILADEKABELMINI" for PR number NW1 or "AUDILADEKABELMAXI" for PR number NW2 is entered when entering.
-- Select the ODIS Service and start with Diagnostic mode.
On scan tool display
- VIN not found. Check ignition/diagnostic interface
- Printer the Continue button.
On scan tool display
- An error occurs during the automatic identification of the vehicle. Please identify the vehicle manually.
- Press the button OK .
-- In the "vehicle identification" line:
- "manually" activation
-- Enter the following in the "VIN" lines:

"AUDILADEKABELMINI for PR number NW1"
"AUDILADEKABELMAXI for PR number NW2"
-- If in the line "manufacturer line" the brand is not filled in, select "Audi".
-- Enter the following in the "model" lines:

"All external components"
-- Ignore "model year", "version", "engine lines".
-- Check the line "procedure with Guided Fault Finding" :

-- To continue:

Press Accept
-- If possible, enter the VIN of the vehicle -arrow- with which the customer of the affected "compact" or "connect" charging system is used.
-- Perform the entered test programs in the test plan.
