Exhaust Temperature Regulation Components, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- Cylinder Bank 1 (Right)

-- Remove the connector -2- from the bracket and disconnect it.

-- Remove the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 - G495- -1- with a suitable tool from the Diesel Engine Tool Set: T10395B .

Free up the wire from the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495-.

-- Guide the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 - G495- under the engine bracket for the driving dynamic support -item 7- : Engine Bracket .

CAUTION:

There is a risk of burn injuries due to a hot exhaust system.

Possible to burn hands and other parts of the body.

- Allow the exhaust system to cool.

-- Remove the connector -1- from the bracket, disconnect it, and free up the wire.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of burn injuries due to a hot exhaust system.

Possible to burn hands and other parts of the body.

- Allow the exhaust system to cool.

-- Remove the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- -2- with a suitable tool from the Diesel Engine Tool Set: T10395B .
