Vibration Damper, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the lock carrier cover, right and left air intake grille as well as the bumper cover end plate. Refer to Front Bumper .

-- Remove the front noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left and right front wheel spoiler. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left front lower longitudinal member. Refer to LOWER LONGITUDINAL MEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

-- Loosen the hose clamp -arrow- and remove the air duct hose from the air duct pipe.

-- Remove the left and right bolt -1- and push the coolant pipe on the lock carrier toward the rear.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -1- and remove the front left air duct pipe from the charge air cooler.

-- Place the container of the :VAS5014  or :VAS6208  underneath.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-.

-- Lift the clamp -3- and remove the lower right coolant hose from the radiator and drain the coolant.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and air duct -1-.

-- Release the left and right catches in direction of -arrows- and remove the retaining pin -1- for the radiator upward.

-- Cut through the air duct -1- in the area of the pass-through for the refrigerant lines using diagonal pliers -arrows-.

-- Release the catches -arrow- and remove the air ducts -1 and 3-.

-- Secure the upper radiator again using the retaining pins.

-- Release the catches -arrows- and remove the air duct -1-.

-- Remove the left and right bolt -2- and push the radiator bracket -1- with the bolt toward the front in direction of -arrow-.
