Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensors -G495- / -G497-, Removing And Installing, 3.0L Engine: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- Cylinder Bank 1 (Right)

-- Remove the connector -2- from the bracket, disconnect it, and free up the wire.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of burn injuries due to a hot exhaust system.

Possible to burn hands and other parts of the body.

- Allow the exhaust system to cool.

-- Remove the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 - G495- -1- with a suitable tool from the :T10395B .

-- Remove the connector -1- from the bracket, disconnect it, and free up the wire.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of burn injuries due to a hot exhaust system.

Possible to burn hands and other parts of the body.

- Allow the exhaust system to cool.

-- Remove the - G497- -2- with a suitable tool from the :T10395B .
