1. Exhaust Valve
   • Do not rework, only lapping is permitted
   • Mark the installed position for reinstallation.
   • Valve Dimensions. Refer to VALVE DIMENSIONS .
   • Valve Guides, Checking. Refer to VALVE GUIDES, CHECKING .
2. Valve Stem Seal
   • Different versions; allocation. Refer to Fig 4.
   • Replacing. Refer to VALVE STEM SEALS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
3. Valve Spring
   • Installation position:
     • Intake Valve. Refer to Fig 2.
     • Exhaust Valve. Refer to Fig 3.

6. Roller Rocker Lever
   • Mark the installation position with paint for reinstallation
   • Check the roller bearing for ease of movement
   • Oil the running surfaces before installing
   • Clipped in with the clamp -item-  7 on the hydraulic lifter -item-  8
7. Clip
   • Not available separately.
   • Check for secure fit
8. Hydraulic Lifter
   • Clipped in the roller rocker lever -item-  6
   • Mark the installation position with paint for reinstallation
   • Oil the running surfaces before installing
9. Cylinder Head
   • Shown for cylinder bank 2 (left)
   • Valve Guides, Checking. Refer to VALVE GUIDES, CHECKING .
10. Intake Valve
    • Do not rework, only lapping is permitted
    • Mark the installed position for reinstallation.
    • Valve Dimensions. Refer to VALVE DIMENSIONS .
    • Valve Guides, Checking. Refer to VALVE GUIDES, CHECKING .
