Turbocharger Vacuum Diaphragm, Replacing, 2.9L Engine, Cylinder Bank 1 (Right): Removing

-- Remove the engine cover and heat shield. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the vacuum hose -4- from the vacuum diaphragm; do not damage it.

-- Disconnect the connector -3- for Turbocharger Recirculation Valve -N249-, ree up the wiring harness and push to the side.

-- Remove the locking spring -1- and control rod from the turbocharger operating lever.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and then remove the vacuum diaphragm -2-.

-- If the vacuum diaphragm cannot be removed as described, remove the Recirculation Valve, Bank 1 -N625-.Refer to RECIRCULATION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE .
