Stabilizer Bar, Removing And Installing: Removing

Before starting work:

-- Versions with coil springs: determine the curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRING .

-- Versions with air suspension: determine the standard vehicle height. Refer to WHEEL BEARING AT STANDARD VEHICLE HEIGHT, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH AIR SUSPENSION .

-- Remove the front noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the wheel spoiler. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Remove the lower longitudinal member. Refer to OVERVIEW - LOCK CARRIER .

-- Insert the :T40335  on the left and right side into the subframe. If necessary, adjust the brace at the knurled handle.

-- Secure the brace on the left and right side using a cotter pin -arrow-.

-- Remove the left and right nuts -arrows and 3-.

-- Remove the left and right clamp -1- and bolt -4-.

-- Remove the stabilizer bar -2-.
