-- Fold the center folding backrest forward.
-- Move the headrest all the way up.
-- Remove the locking mechanism trim. Refer to CENTER FOLDING BACKREST LOCKING MECHANISM TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SINGLE SEATS .
-- Free up the cover in the locking mechanism area.
-- Remove the bolts -2-.
-- Remove the locking mechanism -1- from the backrest frame.
