Driver Side Instrument Panel Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel side cover. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL SIDE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the storage compartment cover -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Disengage the instrument panel cover on the side at the pin -arrow A-.

-- Unclip the instrument panel cover -1- from the instrument panel by hand or using the : T10383/1 in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Disconnect the connector from the light switch.

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and remove the footwell cover -1- from the threaded pins.

-- Disengage the data link connector on the footwell cover.

-- Equipped on some models: disconnect the connectors for the footwell lamp, parking aid warning buzzer and the emergency call speaker.

-- Remove the footwell cover on the driver side toward the rear.
