Rear Brake Caliper, Replacing: Notes

NOTE:

Clean bolts before reusing.

Replacing the damaged bolts. Refer to the Parts Information.

Always replace the self-locking bolts. Refer to the Parts Information.

NOTE:

The brake caliper is removed and disconnected from the hydraulic system in the following description. The brake hose is removed.

Torque Wrench, 6-50Nm:VAG1331A
Brake Pedal Actuator:VAG1869/2 .
Bleeder bottle from the Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit:VAS5234
M10 plug -item 1- or M12 -item 2- from the Assembly Part Set:5Q0 698 311
Lithium Grease:G 052 150 A2 . Refer to Parts Information.
