Bracket
- for electrical wire

Hose Bracket
- for brake hose
Bolt
- 20 Nm
  NOTE:
  Clean bolts before reusing.
  
  Replacing the damaged bolts. Refer to the Parts Information.
  
  Always replace the self-locking bolts. Refer to the Parts Information.
Brake Line/Brake Hose
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Make sure the brake hose is routed correctly. Make sure the brake hose is not blocked, bent, twisted or rubbing against the vehicle.
- Replace if damaged
- Make sure that tabs are properly seated in the grooves on the bracket.
- Brake hose to brake caliper tightening specification. Refer to BRAKE HOSE TO BRAKE CALIPER .
  CAUTION:
  Do not damage the brake hose; a damaged brake hose must be replaced.
- Brake line to brake caliper: 14 Nm.
Bracket
- for brake hose

Spring
- Replace if damaged
Brake Line
- Do not change the bending shape.
- Brake hose to brake line: 14 Nm
  CAUTION:
  Do not damage or bend the brake line past its given shape; a damaged or bent brake line must be replaced.
Bolt
- 20 Nm
  NOTE:
  Clean bolts before reusing.

  Always replace the self-locking bolts. Refer to the Parts Information.
Bolt
- 200 Nm
  NOTE:
  Clean bolts before reusing.

Brake Pad Pins
- Use a commercially available drift punch to push through the brake caliper
  NOTE:
  Do not damage the paint coating on the brake caliper when pushing through.
Protective Cap
Bleed Screw
- Before installing, thinly coat with Assembly Paste:G 052 150 A2 .
- 18 Nm
Brake Pad Wear Indicator Wire
- For the left inner brake pad with the Left Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor -G34-
- Replace when replacing the pads
Brake Pad Spring
- Check for damage, replace if necessary
- Do not change the bending shape.
Brake Caliper
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- To replace brake pads, unfasten from brake carrier
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REPLACING
  NOTE:
  Clean bolts before reusing.

  Always replace the self-locking bolts. Refer to the Parts Information.
Brake Pad
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Left inner brake pad with Left Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor -G34-
- If the brake pad wear indicator wire is damaged, replace the brake pads
- Check the pad thickness. For the wear limit, refer to BRAKE PADS, CHECKING THICKNESS
- Refer to BRAKE PAD INSTALLATION POSITION, 1LG AND 1LH
- Always replace on both axles.
- Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BRAKES 1LG AND 1LH
Brake Rotor
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Maximum lateral run-out: 0.06 mm
- If the brake rotor is installed, measure using the Dial Indicator - 0-10mm -VAS6079- and Dial Indicator Bracket :6079/1 .
- Clean away any dirt and rust on the brake rotor, and perform the measurement 10 mm from the outer edge of the brake rotor.
- Do not use force to separate the brake rotors from the wheel hub. Use rust remover if necessary.

- 8 Nm
