Hydraulic System, Pre-Bleeding

WARNING:

Brake fluid is poisonous, and must never be siphoned by mouth under any circumstances.
Wash off any brake fluid that comes into contact with the skin with a lot of water.
If brake fluid contacts the eyes, wash out the eyes and see a doctor.

-- Position the brake caliper as shown in the illustration for the pre-bleed procedure.

-- Open the bleed screw -arrow A- and using a commercially available bleeder bottle, fill with brake fluid until brake fluid flows out of the threaded hole (brake hose connection) -arrow B- without any bubbles. Close the bleeder screw.
