Brake Caliper Piston, Removing And Installing, Dual-Piston Brake: Notes

NOTE:

Use only mineral spirits or commercially available brake cleaner to clean the brake caliper.

Install the entire repair kit when servicing.

Thinly coat the brake cylinder and piston with Lithium Grease: G 052 150 A2

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Removal Tool -VAS40338-
Carefully pry the protective cap -1- and the seal out of the brake caliper with the Removal Tool -VAS40338- -2- using gentle lever movements, and do not damage the groove for the protective cap in the brake caliper while doing so.
Piston Resetting Tool -T10145-
Lithium Grease: G 052 150 A2
