Note For Locking Pin On Brake Fluid Reservoir

The brake fluid reservoir is secured with a locking pin -6-

NOTE:

The seal -8- in the cap -9- is not available as an individual part.

The securing pin is only inserted and not tightened.

The locking pin is driven out using a suitable tool from the right to the left (direction of travel) out of the brake fluid reservoir and brake master cylinder.

If necessary completely remove the locking pin using pliers.

After removing the locking pin must be replaced.

The "new" locking pin must go in the hole -arrow- in the brake master cylinder.

-- Beforehand push the brake fluid reservoir in the mount on the brake master cylinder.

The "new" locking pin -A- is pushed from the left to the right (direction of travel) -arrow- through the tab on the brake fluid reservoir and the brake master cylinder.

CAUTION:

The new locking pin -A- must go completely through both tabs on the brake fluid reservoir and the brake master cylinder.

There is a risk that the brake fluid reservoir jumps out of the brake master cylinder.

The vehicle is then without braking.
