Battery, Disconnecting And Connecting, Battery And Auxiliary Battery, (0K4 + VH0): Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Analog/Digital Multimeter:FLU83III
The Auxiliary Battery - A1- is switched in parallel to the Battery - A-. The vehicle electrical system will only be de-energized if the Auxiliary Battery - A1- is de-energized first.
Disconnecting
-- Switch off the ignition.
-- Remove the luggage compartment floor.
-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- to the Auxiliary Battery -A1-. The Auxiliary Battery - A1- is de-energized by disconnecting the connector -arrow-.
-- If equipped, open the cover -3- on the battery negative terminal of the Battery - A-.
-- Loosen the nut -1- several turns and remove the battery ground cable clamp -2- from the battery terminal.
