Rear Exit Warning Lamp, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Equipped on some models: remove the door window sun shade. Refer to the appropriate service information .
-- Disconnect the connector -1- and free up the connector -2-.
-- Release the retainers -3 and 4-.
-- Push the interior door handle illumination fiber-optic cable -8- upward and out of the mount in direction of -arrow-. Doing so will detach the exit warning lamp -7- from the mount.
-- Release the retainers and remove the lamp -6- from the fiber-optic cable -5-.
