Sill Panel Trim, Removing And Installing: Removing
Equipment version with illuminated sill panel trim:
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the lower B-pillar trim. Refer to B-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Lift the carpet slightly and disconnect the connector -3-.
-- Free up the wire by slightly pulling the seal -2- away from the body flange.
Continuation:
-- Vehicles without cut-outs for pin in the side sill: make the position of the sill panel for installation.
-- Carefully warm up the sill panel trim -1- using the : VAG1416 .
-- Carefully pry the sill panel trim from the side sill in direction of -arrow- using the : 3409 . Do not damage the paint coat while doing so.
