Overview - A/C Compressor Power Unit, Vehicles With 6-Cylinder Diesel Engine

• Check for wear
• Removing and Installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
• Mark the running direction and install on the proper side. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING[For engine(s) DBPA] Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side[For engine(s) DBPA] Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side .

• There are different versions.
• For vehicles with 6-cylinder engine
• Removing and Installing. Refer to SUB-ASSEMBLY BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

• There are different versions.
• Refrigerant Line, Disconnecting and Connecting. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING TO A/C COMPRESSOR .
• Removing and installing from the bracket. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .
• Removing and Installing. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  NOTE:

  There are different versions depending on the refrigerant (R134a or R1234yf).

• Always replace. Refer to the Parts Information for the version.
• Coat with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS .

• M6 - 9 Nm
• M8 - 25 Nm

• To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram(s).
