Overview - A/C Compressor Power Unit, Vehicles With 6-Cylinder 3.0L TFSI Engine
- Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear
- Mark the running direction and install on the correct side
- Ribbed belt (for power take-off) removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Ribbed belt for the A/C compressor, removing and installing (for example on a 6-cylinder TFSI engine with turbocharger). Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .NOTE:
With or without the A/C Clutch -N25- depending on the engine and the A/C compressor belt pulley.
On vehicles with a 6-cylinder TFSI engine with turbocharger the A/C compressor is driven with a ribbed belt.

- Coat with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS .
- Low Pressure Side Refrigerant Line
- Bolt
- M6 - 9 Nm
- M8 - 25 Nm
- A/C Compressor Regulator Valve -N280-
- To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"
function. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram(s).NOTE:

- To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"
function. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram(s).

- Refrigerant Line, Disconnecting and Connecting. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING TO A/C COMPRESSOR .
- Removing and installing from the bracket. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .
- Removing and Installing. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

There are different versions depending on the refrigerant (R134a or R1234yf).
