Oil Pan Upper Section, Removing And Installing: Removing
- Vehicles without high-voltage system: transmission removed. Refer to the appropriate service information .
- Vehicle with high-voltage system: engine is removed and is secured on the Engine and Transmission Holder. Refer to ENGINE, SECURING TO Engine and Transmission Holder .
Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to the appropriate service information in OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CREC] / OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the transmission side sealing flange. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TRANSMISSION SIDE .
-- Remove the oil pump. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-.
Ignore -2-
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
- First pry the oil pan upper section out on the transmission side. Proceed carefully when prying out.
Version 1 Oil Pan Upper Section:
-- Remove the bolts -1 and 14- and remove the oil pan upper section.
Version 2 Oil Pan Upper Section:
-- Remove the plugs on the three bolts.
-- Remove the bolts -1 and 18- and remove the oil pan upper section.
