Rear Coolant Pipes, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles with Secondary Air System: 

-- Remove the plenum chamber bulkhead. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER BULKHEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the wires at the heat shield -1-.

-- Remove the nuts and the bolt -arrows-, and remove the heat shield upward. (Shown with the particulate filter removed).

-- Place the : VAS6208  underneath.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -1 and 2-, then clamp off the coolant hoses with the : 3094  and remove them.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the rear coolant pipes.
