Coolant Pump Toothed Belt, Removing And Installing: Removing

Required preliminary procedure descriptions. Refer to COOLANT PUMP TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If installed, remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447-. Refer to Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vibration Damper, Version 1:

-- To do so counterhold the crankshaft on the vibration damper with the : T40263  , : T40314  and the 24 mm socket.

Vibration Damper, Version 2: 

-- Counterhold the crankshaft at the vibration damper using either the : T40378  or : T40379  , depending on the version.

TIP: 

The drive wheel bolt has left-hand thread.

-- Counterhold the vibration damper and remove the bolt on the drive wheel -1- for the coolant pump and loosen three turns -arrow-. Use : VAG1410  and : T10360  .

-- Remove the toothed belt -2-.
