Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to SUNLIGHT PHOTO SENSOR -G107-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING or HUMIDITY SENSOR -G355- RAIN/LIGHT RECOGNITION SENSOR -G397- SUNLIGHT PHOTO SENSOR -G107-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Depending on the version, the Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107- may also be integrated in the Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397-
- To check. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the"Guided Fault Finding" function
Defroster Vent Cover Grille
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL .
Defroster Vent/Windshield
- Air duct to windshield
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL .
- If the intermediate piece for air routing/defrost. Refer to -Item ) OVERVIEW - AIR ROUTING AND AIR DISTRIBUTION IN PASSENGER COMPARTMENT, FRONT - AIR DUCT/DEFROST INTERMEDIATE PIECE was crushed or crumpled when the instrument panel was installed, the air routed to the windshield will be uneven or insufficient.
- The illustration shows the A4 and A5 on the Q5 it is a separate component
Vent to Right Front Door (Front Passenger Doors)
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL .
Instrument Panel
- With air guides to the defroster vents and various instrument panel vents
- There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Removing and installing. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Wide Vent with Different Vents
- There are different versions.
- On vehicles with a "Low" A/C system (or without an A/C system) the vent for the wide vent does not function. The vent is closed from behind with a closure cap.
- Wide vent, removing and installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL .
- The wide vent is not available on the Q5
  NOTE:
  The air duct to the wide vent vents are open or closed depending on the setting on the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- via the Instrument Panel Vent Motor -V562-.
Air Duct / Instrument Panel
- With the air ducts to the defroster vents and various instrument panel vents to the windshield and the side window.
- There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information.
- The air duct is a component of the instrument panel. Refer to -Item ) OVERVIEW - AIR ROUTING AND AIR DISTRIBUTION IN PASSENGER COMPARTMENT, FRONT - INSTRUMENT PANEL and cannot be replaced separately. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Air Duct with Vent for Driver Side Defroster Vent
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL .
  NOTE:
  To the air duct and vent for defrosting the windshield in the driver visual field
Right Instrument Panel Vent
- There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information.
  NOTE:
  The instrument panel vent is a component of the wide vent.
- Wide vent, removing and installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL .
Wide Vent

  The vent is a component of the wide vent.
