Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the driver side knee airbag. Refer to OVERVIEW - KNEE AIRBAG .

-- Remove the center console. Refer to OVERVIEW - CENTER CONSOLE .

-- Remove the nut -3- and then remove the ground cable -4-.

WARNING:

Risk of severe burns.

If the Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35- was in operation before being removed, it may still be hot.
Do not touch the hot metal surface of the Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-.

-- Disconnect the connector -2- by sliding the retainer -5- upward and pressing the release inward.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35- -1- to the left from the housing -6-.
