NOTE:
Clean the bolts and nuts before reusing.
Always replace self-locking nuts and bolts.
Always replace damaged nuts and bolts.
- Brake Rotor
- Internally vented
- Remove the brake caliper before removing
- Do not use excessive force to separate the brake rotor from the wheel hub. Use rust remover, if necessary, otherwise the brake rotor could be damaged.
- Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING WARNING:
If a brake rotor is damaged or worn, check the other brake rotors for damage and wear.
- Torx Bolt
- 8 Nm
- Brake Pads
- Always replace on both axles.
- Thickness: 12 mm without backing plate
- Wear limit: 2 mm without backing plate
- Check the thickness. Refer to BRAKE PADS, CHECKING THICKNESS .
- Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Brake Caliper
- Do not remove the brake hose when changing the brake pads.
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REPLACING
- Guide Pin
- 30 NmNOTE:
Always replace the self-locking guide pin.
- 30 Nm
- Cap
- Remove
- Adapter Sleeve
- Brake Hose with Ring Connection and Banjo Bolt
- 35 NmNOTE:
If damaged replace the bolt with brake hose.
- 35 Nm
- Wheel Hub with Wheel Bearing
- Pressing in and out. Refer to OVERVIEW - WHEEL BEARING .
- Torx Bolts
- 12 NmNOTE:
Clean the bolts and nuts before reusing.
Always replace self-locking nuts and bolts.
Always replace damaged nuts and bolts.
- 12 Nm
- Brake Shield
- Wheel Bearing Housing
- With integrated brake carrier
- Lightly grease the pad guide surfaces with Lithium Lubricating Grease: G 052 150 A2 .
- Speed Sensor --
- Before inserting the sensor, clean the inner surface of the hole and coat with Hot Bolt Paste: G 052 112 A3 .
- Hex Socket Bolt
- 8 NmNOTE:
