Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the door window into the "closed" position.

-- Remove the door handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Sedan: Remove the door window seal guide rail. Refer to DOOR WINDOW GUIDE RAIL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear cover -3-.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Push the mounting bracket -2- from inside the door slightly in the direction of the -arrow- and remove.

-- Free up the operating cable -3- from the bracket -4-.

-- With a second technician  , bring the door handle into the "open" position and hold.

-- Remove the housing -2- with the cable from the mounting bracket with the : T40207  -arrow-, while doing so the securing tabs -1- disengage.

-- Bring the door handle into the "closed" position.

-- Disengage the operating cable -2- on the operating lever -1- in the direction of -arrow A-.

-- Remove the mounting bracket from the door.
