Front Door Window, Removing And Installing

1. Door Window
   • The door trim panel is removed. Refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Inner door seal removed. Refer to DOOR INNER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

     -- Drive the window regulator until the carrier is visible through the opening in the inner door panel.

     -- To remove, release catches from carrier -3- with a screwdriver and pull door window -1- in window guide up slightly.

     -- Tilt the door window forward and remove it upward from the door.

2. Window Regulator
   • The window regulator remains installed inside the door.
3. Retainer

-- Drive the door window down until the opening it visible.

-- Using for example a screwdriver, press the carrier -3- outward to release through the opening in window guide -1- and hole in door window -2-.

-- Remove the door window upward from coupling plate.

-- Tip the door window forward at an angle and pull it upward out of the window guide.

Door Window, Inserting

-- Insert the door window -1- at an angle toward the front in door window guide.

-- Align the door window in front and rear window guides and slide it down.

-- Press the door window down into coupling plate.

-- The drivers engage in the door window at the same time.
