Center Instrument Panel Ambient Lighting Lamp -L231-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the connector clip -1- for the ambient lighting lamp.
-- Disconnect the connector -2- for the ambient lighting lamp.
-- Remove the button in the instrument panel. The connectors remain connected. Refer to BUTTONS IN INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the instrument panel trim. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL SIDE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the lamp -2- from the lighting strip -1- in direction of -arrow-.
