Overview - Driver Side Knee Airbag

  1. Driver Knee Airbag Igniter -N295-
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to KNEE AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
      CAUTION:

      There is a risk of damaging the surface of the knee airbag from mechanical stress.

      • After finishing the procedure, perform a visual inspection to make sure the surface of the knee airbag is not damaged, especially along the perforation area.
  2. Attachment Point
    • For the knee airbag
      CAUTION:

      There is a risk of malfunctions do to a faulty ground connection.

      • The counter threaded and contact surface must be free of paint, coating, and corrosion, the threaded connection serves as the ground connection for the knee airbag.
  3. Bolt
    • 8 Nm
    • Replace after removing.
    • Quantity: 3
  4. Connector
    • For the Driver Knee Airbag Igniter -N295-
