Overview - Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel, A3/A3 SPORTBACK

- Replace damaged or deformed clips
- Insert in the trim panel
- Remove any remaining clips using Omega Clip Tool: T40280 and use them to install the trim.

- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Fig 2.

- Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A3/A3 SPORTBACK .
- Press on until it engages audibly
- Stretch the lip of the rear lid seal over
- Bolt
- 2 Nm
- Mount
- For the bag hooks
- Removing and Installing. Refer to SIDE BAG HOOKS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Press on until it engages audibly
- Bag Hooks
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to SIDE BAG HOOKS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Place in the mount and turn clockwise until stop.
- Tie Down
- Removing and Installing. Refer to TIE DOWN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 8 Nm
- Cap
- For the luggage compartment side trim
- 12 V Socket -U5-
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - CIGARETTE LIGHTER, 12 V SOCKET .
- Nut
- Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - CIGARETTE LIGHTER, 12 V SOCKET .
- Cover
- For the eyelet
- Unclip using the Trim Removal Wedge: 3409
- Press on until it engages audibly
Bracket - Tightening Specification and Sequence
-- Tighten the bolts in sequence -1 and 2- to 10 Nm.
