Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the tail lamp. Refer to TAIL LAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the luggage compartment side trim panel cover.

-- Sedan: remove the luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear lid end trim panel. Refer to Luggage Compartment Trim Panels .

-- Remove the covers -1-.

-- Remove the nut -2- with :T40078  .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Pull the retainer -1- upward -arrow-.

-- If necessary, free up the wiring harness.

-- Disengage the side piece from the side panel and remove the bumper cover -2- slightly.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2-.

-- Lay the bumper cover on a soft surface.
