Electric Vacuum Pump, Removing And Installing, 1.5L TFSI Engine, G-Tron: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the center underbody trim panel. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY TRIM PANELS .

-- If necessary, remove the right drive axle heat shield. Refer to DRIVE AXLE HEAT SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -3- and remove the heat shield -2- from the Brake System Vacuum Pump -V192- -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Disconnect the vacuum hose -4-.

-- Open the retainer -arrow- and remove the vacuum line.

-- Remove the screws -2-, and remove the bracket with the Brake System Vacuum Pump -V192- -1-.

-- If necessary, disconnect the vacuum pump from the bracket.
