Vehicles with 1.2L/1.4L TFSI Engine
-- Release the retainer -arrow- and remove the vacuum hose -1-.
-- Free up the vacuum hose on the air duct pipe -2-.
Vehicles with 1.5L/1.8L/2.0L TFSI Engine
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Loosen the hose clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air duct pipe.
Vehicles with 1.8L/2.0L TFSI engine
-- Disconnect the vacuum hose -2-.
-- Press the release button on the vacuum hose -1- and remove the hose from the vacuum pump.
Vehicles with 1.5L TFSI Engine, Gasoline:
-- Release the catch in direction of -arrow-, remove the vacuum hoses and do not damage.
-- Free up the vacuum hose -1- on the intake manifold and set to the left side.
Vehicles with 1.5L TFSI engine, g-tron:
-- Release the catch in direction of -arrow-, remove the vacuum hose -1- and do not damage.
-- Free up vacuum hose.
-- Release the catch in direction of -arrow-, remove the vacuum hose -1- and do not damage.
-- Free up the vacuum hose and move to the left side.
Vehicles with 1.6L/2.0L TDI Engine
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Free up the vacuum hoses -arrows-.
-- Loosen the hose clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air duct pipe.
-- Release the retainer -arrow- and remove the vacuum hose -1-.
Different equipment depending on the version.
Ignore -items 2 and 3-.
Vehicles with 2.5L TFSI Engine
-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the vacuum hose -2-.
-- Free up the vacuum hose -1-, pull it out of the brake booster vacuum pump and remove it.
Continuation for All Engines:
-- If installed, disconnect the connector -1- from the Vacuum Sensor -G608-.
-- Carefully remove the vacuum hose -2- from the brake booster.
Do not damage the vacuum hose. A damaged vacuum hose must be replaced.
