Dust Cap, Removing And Installing: Removing
- Brake caliper piston is driven back.
- The parking brake motor is removed. Refer to LEFT AND RIGHT PARKING BRAKE MOTOR -V282- / -V283-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Install the entire repair kit when servicing.
CAUTION:
Risk of destroying the thread.
- The piston must not be removed too far.
-- Remove the brake caliper piston a maximum of 20 mm -dimension a- counter-clockwise using a TORX® insert -arrow-.
-- Remove the protective cap from the brake caliper using the : 3409 .
