Towing Recognition Control Module -J345-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing
-- Remove the luggage compartment left trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Manual Trailer Hitch:
-- Disconnect the connectors -2 and 3-.
-- Release the retaining tab -arrow- and remove the towing recognition control module -4- from the frame -1-.
NOTE:
If the tab cannot be opened, the hydraulic pump must be removed from the side compartment.
Power Trailer Hitch:
-- Disconnect the connectors -1, 3 and 4-.
-- Release the retaining tab -arrow- and remove the towing recognition control module -5- from the frame -2-.
