Crankshaft Seal, Replacing, Transmission Side

Seal Installer - Crankshaft T10122A
Puller - Crankshaft/Power Steering Seal T20143/2

Procedure

Engine or transmission removed.

-- Remove the drive plate, refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Pry out the shaft seal using puller T20143/2.

-- Clean the running and sealing surface.

-- Place the assembly device T10122/1 on the pull sleeve T10122/2 and slide the shaft seal -A- onto the pull sleeve.

-- Remove the assembly device.

-- Position the pull sleeve T10122/2 with shaft seal -1- on the crankshaft.

-- Install the shaft seal in evenly all around with thrust piece T10122/3 until flush.

-- Install the drive plate, refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
