Camshaft Adjuster, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE: Replace the O-rings.

CAUTION:

The engine could be damaged.

Bring all of the pins for all of the cam adjustment actuators into the installed position.

-- Press the camshaft adjustment actuator pins down by hand in direction of -arrow-.

The actuator pins must not be in the outward position.

-- Install the air guides with the screw-type clamps, refer to OVERVIEW - CHARGE AIR HOSE CONNECTIONS .
