MECHATRONIC, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Replace the bolts.

-- Replace the transmission fluid pump cover.

-- Replace the O-rings -arrows- on the connector for the Dual-Clutch Transmission Mechatronic -J743-.

-- Carefully insert the Dual-Clutch Transmission Mechatronic -J743- into the transmission housing:

The Mechatronic must be placed on the alignment pins -arrow-.
The sensor arm must rest in the guide on the transmission housing as shown in the magnified area.

-- Tighten the bolts for the Dual-Clutch Transmission Mechatronic -J743-. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the transmission fluid pan. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the connector for the Dual-Clutch Transmission Mechatronic -J743- and lock the retainer by turning.

-- Install the transmission fluid pump cover. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill with transmission fluid. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID, DRAINING AND FILLING . Also, check the transmission fluid level. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL, CHECKING .

Basic Setting, Performing

-- Select Individual test on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
